This is art. not sure if they are really playing cards, but they are very cool. aren’t they?
You have to be a very talented artist to do that… These are beautiful set of playing cards. very interesting the fact that the top of the card shows like the king, queen or jack it is alive, but the bottom part it looks like they are dead… The exception makes the Joker where half of his face it is alive and half it is dead on both bottom and top…

These are great were can you get them?
Regular playing cards were often used for tarot-like fortunetelling. The direction of the card, upright or inverted, affects the meaning of the card. I wonder if the artist drew upon this history to make these life and death directions to represent that.
I looked around and I found that the original artist is a man named Kornel Ravadits.

Actually, if you look closely, you can observe that they do in fact have suits. The characters on the cards are wearing them rather than the suit being directly under the number. (KS, KH, QC, Joker, JD, KC, QH, QD)
Notify me if anyone knows where to buy a set like these….or maybe I’ll sell something like it similar. Hmmmmmmmm
